Yellowjackets are excellent pollinators. Happy in the buddleia (buddleja) or butterfly bush.

    You sure the one’s in the second picture are yellowjackets and not Polistes Dominulus or something? — their waist looks longer than it seems to me yellowjacket waists usually are.

    The first picture, of one in flight, looks pretty neat.
