Bottom image down the alley from John P. Quigley.
That Bostonia cigar building belonged to my maternal grandfather, Francis X. Oberle who opened this location in 1876 when he immigrated from Sasbach, Germany. I still have several cigar boxes and other paraphernalia from the Bostonia Cigar Company.
How would I go about obtaining copies of these pictures and/or especially calendars that you have on file. Thank you very much for any help you can give me as I would like to have them for gifts to my relatives. If this is possible then please let me know the cost.
wow David! Thanks for the historical background. I can sell you digital prints if you would like. Calendars are a great idea. There is a German publisher who is tentatively doing a calendar of my work, but not these images per se. I will email you for further info.
Thanks for the reply. Would appreciate the information that you mentioned. Probably 16 calendars. I know thats not much but willing to accommodate for the cost if fairly reasonable. Really Interested.
Sorry – $40 per is out of my league. I’m sure the price you quoted is worth it with all the work involved but thought the cost would be a lot less. Thanks anyway for your help.
Great photo’s of my Grandfather’s Bostonian Cigar company from the year 1876. His name as you know was Frank X. Oberle from Sasbach, Germany. I would love to have copies printed and will be happy to send you whatever prices yu are asking, and if calanders are made would love to have one also.
Thank you kindly for these precious photo’s of my heritage.
