I miss Grabstein’s kreplach, knaidlach (matzoh balls) & noodle soup (Canarsie). Although this probably was just a deli that sold cold cuts, the deli is a dying breed.

I completely agree. Isn’t Brooklyn supposed to be where one can get a great matzah ball soup and corn beef??? I have to go in NYC to get my fix.

There is the artsy fartsy Mill Basin delicatessen on Avenue N, before Ralph Avenue. The food is decent – you get a sandwich that you can take half home – and there are Ertés abounding, with an occasional Disney cartoon cell on the walls. Nice brisket.
