Victor- Like my friend Michael Klein says, "It's a small world but I wouldn't want to paint it."

Very small. How bizarre is that? My friend Barney who grew up in Queens NY moved to Sweden with his wife (who is Swedish) and became a lawyer. On one of his bicycle trips, he took this shot because he knows I love signs. Thanks so much for your comments and details about this wall.

Best,
Frank

Well I just had to put a comment here since Vedum is my home town (actually it is a very small village with a population of about 1000 souls). The wall painting is called "Vid affären" which, in English, means "By the store". The painting is situated next to the grocery store in Vedum and was painted by an artist called Anna Asklund in 2001. She has painted other wall paintings in different parts of Sweden which you can have look at if you visit her homepage (in swedish): http://www.galdra.nu/. To get to the wall paintings click on "Konstverk" and then on "Monumentalt".

PS. The house you see "between" the car and telephone booth is the house that I grew up in. My parents still live there.
